Ovcarsko-Kablarska Gorge is recognized for its natural beauties as well as for its cultural-historical monuments. The monasteries played an important role, not only in spiritual sense, but also in development of the national conscience, in acquiring knowledge and in teaching illiterates how to read and write, throughout the history of Serbia and Serbian people who lived on this territory for centuries. We will visit monastery Blagovestenje and monastery Nikolje, and continue our trip to village Zlakuse and ethno park "Terzica avlija".
This ethno park with its garden represents a typical village garden from the past. There are two old Serbian houses .One of them is 100 years old and it is built of underdone bricks and four sides roof with tile called pepper. A family lived in one house and the other was for guests. The garden was provided for various manifestations in the open air, such as meetings of singing groups, national orchestras, literature evenings and presentations, art exhibitions, etc; in the cottage which is characteristic for this area, you can buy souvenirs, postcards, pottery and various products of national manufacture.
We will also visit Potpecka cave with the biggest cave entrance in Serbia, near the village and afterwards in Ethno park we will spend time with local people and have lunch with domestic food, as well as dinner with cultural program and folklore with local assembly from this area.
Departure to Mokra Gora and ethno houses in Drvengrad (Wooden town). Overnight.
