Ethno - Ecological Tours

Meeting of passengers and representatives of the agency at the airport " Nikola Tesla "- Belgrade. Transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing of the city with a professional tourist guide.

Route: The City Parliament, The Federal Parliament, Terazije Square, Republic Square, Students' Square, Belgrade Fortress, City Gate ("Varoš kapija"), New Belgrade, Topčider Hill, Dedinje, Oslobodjenje Square, Slavija Square, Nikola Pašić Square.

Spare time in the afternoon. In the evening , visit of old bohemian quarter Skadarlija and dinner in the national restaurant with program which includes actors and musician. With this experience, you will feel the spirit of Belgrade from old times. Overnight.

Breakfast. Check out from hotel and departure to Ovcarsko-kablarska Gorge.
Ovcarsko-Kablarska Gorge is recognized for its natural beauties as well as for its cultural-historical monuments. The monasteries played an important role, not only in spiritual sense, but also in development of the national conscience, in acquiring knowledge and in teaching illiterates how to read and write, throughout the history of Serbia and Serbian people who lived on this territory for centuries. We will visit monastery Blagovestenje and monastery Nikolje, and continue our trip to village Zlakuse and ethno park "Terzica avlija".

This ethno park with its garden represents a typical village garden from the past. There are two old Serbian houses .One of them is 100 years old and it is built of underdone bricks and four sides roof with tile called pepper. A family lived in one house and the other was for guests. The garden was provided for various manifestations in the open air, such as meetings of singing groups, national orchestras, literature evenings and presentations, art exhibitions, etc; in the cottage which is characteristic for this area, you can buy souvenirs, postcards, pottery and various products of national manufacture.

We will also visit Potpecka cave with the biggest cave entrance in Serbia, near the village and afterwards in Ethno park we will spend time with local people and have lunch with domestic food, as well as dinner with cultural program and folklore with local assembly from this area.
Departure to Mokra Gora and ethno houses in Drvengrad (Wooden town). Overnight.

Breakfast. We will have sightseeing of the Wooden town and Ethno houses and attend to documentary film projection create by famous known director Emir Kusturica .

Free time. Lunch in national restaurant.

Departure to Mokra Gora train station. Boarding the old type train "Ćira" and driving along the famous "Šarganska osmica" - the narrow-gage railroad, shaped in number eight, long 15 kilometers with 22 tunnels, many viaducts and bridges and it represents the greatest tourist attraction in Europe at the moment. Stops are on the places with spectacular views, and also on the place where film "Život je čudo" (Life is a miracle) by Emir Kusturica is made.

Return to Wooden town. Dinner. Overnight.

Breakfast. Departure to open-air museum "Sirogojno".
Sirogojno is a village in Serbia, located on Mt. Zlatibor. Sirogojno offers a variety of interesting activities including fashion shows of knitwear hand-made by female residents of Mt. Zlatibor, evenings by the fire and summer school for learning traditional crafts such as pottery, knitting, mosaic-making and graphic skills.

Also in Sirogojno is an open air museum, or ethno village, known as the "Old Village" Museum, covering nearly 15 hectares and containing authentic elements of ordinary life collected from all over the Zlatibor region from the 19th century for observation. The ethno village displays a set of old traditional wooden houses, including a bakery, a dairy, and an inn, all in authentic form. We will have sightseeing of this unique open air Museum and in the afternoon, we will return to Belgrade.
