Sirogojno - Location: Southwestern Sebia

Description: Situated 32 km from the town of Uzice and 24 km from Zlatibor Mountain, Sirogojno village lies on the ideal altitude of 900m. The village was first mentioned in the Turkish land register in 1476. In 1970s it became known by its hand-made sweaters. Sirogojno fashion gained popularity throughout the world: in Paris, Rome, London, Vienna, Brussels, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Moscow.

An important cultural hub of the village is a building facilitating a library and a gallery, as well as the open-air Old Village museum, which makes Sirogojno village the only of this kind. The museum marks a special tourist destination, forming a part of a wider concept of Zlatibor tourism and recording an increasing number of visitors. A few restaurants and cafes are located in the very centre of the village.

The vicinity of Sirogojno hosts Gostilje village (12km away ) with its famous waterfall at the Katusnica River, and the birthplace of Dimitrije Tucovic. On the road to the Rozanstvo village (6km) lies a cave called Stopica pecina. The springs of healing water are situated within the nearby Vapa spa.

Inn – Food is a part of cultural heritage of every nation. Cherishing the traditional way of food preparation, the inn on a daily basis offers cheese, milk cream butter (kajmak), proscuitto, buckwheat pie, dark bread and other specialties that Zlatibor is famous for.

Facilities: Lodging cabins. Seven objects with interiors adapted to serve the needs of modern living standards. The buildings are located nearby the inn. Every cabin is furnished with small kitchen, living room with fireplace, TV set and telephone, bedrooms and bathroom. The lodgings are of different capacities, with 2 - 5 beds (29 beds in total).
