Freebiking (Mountain biking)

Serbia's mountains are a haven for free bikers (mountain bikers) - those who like to enjoy nature on a bicycle. As a mixture of mountaineering and cycling, free biking offers a whole new experience.
A free biker does not like asphalt - concrete. A free biker wants to feel an adrenaline rush as his bike jumps over rocks and dirt roads, or over fallen trees. A free biker likes a view from a top of a hill, a ride over forest clearings or steep routes. In Serbia, a free biker needs a mountain bike and a good will.

If you wish to experience unforgettable river magic, green banks, steep gorges and clear waters, go rafting down the Ibar, the Drina, the Lim or the Uvac rivers

Eagle trails

Uvac is a river that carries many secrets - from its source at the foot of the mysterious Roof of Serbia, as Pester Highlands are called - to the point where it flows into Lim River. The high slopes of Pester host very rare species of vultures - Griffon Vulture - a predator bird saved from extinction by rearing it in this region.

Shargan's Eight

There was once a narrow gauge train, affectionately known as the Cira (Chira). It used to cut its path through astonishing landscapes of Serbia and Bosnia on its way from Belgrade to Sarajevo. Both travelers and people who lived by the railway line loved it and enjoyed it - although it was slow and poured out steam and smoke. In 1999, people decided to reconstruct the most attractive part of the former narrow gauge railway. It is the narrowest narrow-gage railroad which has on its 15 km long route 22 tunnels, many viaducts and bridges and it represents the greatest tourist attraction in Europe at the moment.

Ethno village 'Wooden City'

The amazing village built by famous known director Emir Kusturica was until recently just a couple of salvaged traditional wooden houses on a bluff above a spectacularly beautiful valley, but has been transformed into the modern equivalent of the medieval great monastery or university, equipped with a library, Serbia's most advanced cinema and an underground basketball arena.
